Digital mammography is an x ray mammography compared with traditional film mammo with cassette and CR mammography unit. A burst of x-ray is produced by high voltage generator and pass through the breast tissue to a flat panel detector ,which transfer the x-ray into electronic signals and send to computer to convert them mammogram images.The detectors would be A-si and A-se in common.It is called as well computer aid detecion mammogram with the support of workstation.
